At the Above & Beyond Centers, we offer intervention classes at flexible appointment times to work with your schedule. These classes are offered for both court-ordered participants and those who want to attend for personal benefits.
The Beyond Program is a product of the Above & Beyond Corporation, an education and family support agency. All court-approved classes are conducted in a positive, confidential, safe, and professional environment. Proof of enrollment is provided once deposits are made. Upon completion of our program, participants will receive a Certificate of Completion.
Our affordable classes are taught in-person by certified specialists and licensed counselors:
Certified Anger Management Specialist-CAMS II
Certified Shoplifting and Theft Addiction Specialist- CSTAS
Licensed Medical Social Workers -LMSW
$25 per 1 Hour Class
(Classes meet once a week for 12 consecutive weeks)

Anger is an emotion experienced by all. If it is expressed in inappropriate ways, it can become both emotionally and physically costly. This class is designed to teach participants how to manage anger by exploring the tools to prevent violence, understanding triggers, and learning how to avoid anger when possible.

Shoplifting or theft can become an addiction if it goes unchecked. In many cases shoplifters and thieves get away with stealing many times before they are eventually caught. If they keep stealing without negative consequences, it can easily become an addiction. This is why it is necessary to intervene before it becomes a bigger issue.
Discuss the underlining issues that trigger the impulse to steal.
Evaluate the strategies and tools that shoplifters and thieves use.
Learn how to use emotional intelligence to promote recovery.
Gain relapse prevention strategies to assist you from re-offending.
Understand how anger and depression influences behavior.
